The South Downs Way stretches 100 miles from the historic city of Winchester to Eastbourne and has some of the most picturesque views on the south coast. From the rolling hills in the west passing through traditional villages with friendly pubs, woodland areas with views over the Isle of Wight to the magnificent chalk cliffs of the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head before arriving in Eastbourne.
On arrival we will welcome you with tea / coffee and homemade cake in our lounge or garden.
We have drying facilities to dry your wet clothing and boots if you are unfortunate to have rain during your walk, if you are cycling we can provide secure storage for your bike(s)
All our rooms are en suite with toiletries provided and tea / coffee making facilities in your room.
There are numerous restaurants and pubs an easy stroll from Southcroft, so after you have had time for a relaxing shower and a rest you can celebrate your achievement with a well deserved meal and a pint or glass of wine!
In the morning we will provide you a hearty breakfast in our dining room from our extensive breakfast menu
Why not stay an extra night and explore all that Eastbourne has to offer, the wonderful prom (4 miles long), the pier, bandstand, gardens, shops and much more. In the evening see a show in one of Eastbourne’s theatres; please ask us what productions are on.
